Greg Robbins, MD, FAAPMR is a board certified physiatrist and subspecialty boarded in Brain Injury Medicine. He completed his medical degree and medicine intern year at the Medical College of Wisconsin before starting his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at Harvard- Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Robbins is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Academy of Academic Physiatrists, and American Medical Association.
His work has been published in a number of professional journals including the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, International Journal of Cancer, Science Translational Medicine, Advanced Materials Technology, and Handbook of Clinical Neurology.
He spent most of his childhood in Midtown Memphis and appreciates the music and character of this city. He was drawn to Physiatry after noting a void that often occurs after acute medical treatment, in which patients report difficulty returning to the activities they enjoy. He focuses on understanding and troubleshooting the barriers patients encounter, while providing the continuity and support they need to achieve their goals.
