Trauma Surgery services at Regional One Health

Emily Lenart, MD, is a board certified osteopathic medicine physician at Regional One Health. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA. Dr. Lenart’s experience also includes a residency in general surgery at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI.

After her residency, Dr. Lenart joined University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she completed her fellowship at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in trauma critical care.

Dr. Lenart is excited to be part of the Regional One Health family as a trauma and critical care surgeon. She prides herself on taking pleasure in working as a team toward a common goal and being a lifelong learner.  Therefore, she is excited to work for a research and teaching institution like Regional One Health: “I feel research opportunities, especially in trauma and critical care, are imperative to the improvement of both systems and outcomes for our patients.”

She added, “I love to be part of a program where I am challenged daily, where I am allowed to grow in my surgical career, and where I am able to be involved in both research and teaching.”
