A Lifetime of Good Health

The best pediatricians are more than health care providers. They are educators, confidantes and honorary members of your family. At Regional One Health, we take that mission to heart.

When you care for patients from birth through age 17, you take their wellbeing personally. We take time to get to know our patients and earn their trust so we can help them navigate everything from childhood immunizations to questions about puberty to the onset of adult health and safety concerns. Through it all, our focus is on providing the best medical treatment for your individual needs and empowering you to be an active advocate in your own care.

We never forget that a pediatrician does not just care for the patient, but the entire family. Many patients first come to us in the arms of their parents or as a child who can’t yet say where it hurts. We are a safe haven where caregivers can ask questions and get support for the family’s medical, emotional and social needs.

The exceptional pediatric care we provide lays the foundation for a lifetime of good health. We look forward to partnering with your family to establish those essential building blocks.

Our pediatricians offer the full range of care for patients from birth through age 17. We are sensitive to the needs of busy families, so we offer short wait times and walk-in and next-day appointments, as well as convenient access to pharmacy, imaging and specialist services.

Your Foundation for Good Health

When you know your patients from the time they are born, you can deliver personalized care in a trusting, comfortable environment.

Babies and toddlers

For our youngest patients, our care extends to the caregiver. Every time we perform a well-baby exam, immunization or diagnosis and treatment of a medical condition, we also provide education for parents to use to help their child flourish. We counsel caregivers about nutrition, developmental milestones, safety and more to help them give their children a healthy start at life.

School-age children

As your child grows, we are your partner and their mentor in promoting healthy habits and choices. If a concern arises, we know your child’s medical history and how best to support your family in getting the proper care. By intervening early if problems come up, we give your child their best opportunity to overcome medical, social and emotional challenges.

Adolescents and teens

Adolescents and teenagers play an increasing role in making their own health decisions, and the trusting environment we establish pays dividends in conversations about puberty, sexual health, substance abuse, mental health and more. We help young adults navigate these challenging yet rewarding years and support them as they transition to adult primary care.

A lifetime of good health

Quality pediatric care not only safeguards a patient’s health during their first 18 years of life, it gives them the education and confidence they need to continue making healthy choices and to advocate for quality medical care for themselves and their own families.

At Regional One Health, that is our goal for every patient we see.

Meet Our Pediatricians

Dr. Whitney earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville and completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Dr. Whitney sees a pediatrician’s role as supporting families and the community through care that advances physical, emotional and social health. “When I work with families, we are a team, and we’re going to do what’s best for the child. We’re a safe haven for children and parents where they know someone is going to listen, care and help them make informed decisions.”
