Regional One Health Manager of Security Daniel Henderson is being recognized as one of the most influential African American professionals under age 40 in the city of Memphis.
Henderson was recently named to the Top 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Professionals list, which honors rising African American Memphians who offer unique and innovative solutions to social problems, as well as those who shine in their respective professions.
A Memphis native, Henderson has been in the security field for 15 years and joined the Regional One Health team 12 years ago, starting as a contract vendor and later transitioning to a full-time employee. He currently oversees security operations for the health care system.
Henderson is a member of the International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security and holds a Healthcare Security Certification. He is also a Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor and teaches de-escalation techniques to health care professionals.
Outside of work, Henderson is a loving husband and father to three children and volunteers his time to feed the less fortunate. He is a member of the Mid-South Panfishers fishing club, and, as a musician, enjoys karaoke.
