“I believe that we can have in Memphis a strong Academic Medical Center that will fulfill the complex needs of our community and provide high-quality care,” says Reginald Coopwood, MD, President & CEO.  “Building a new, modern facility is an integral part of this journey.”

Regional One Health is moving forward with the building of a new hospital campus.  This transformative construction project reflects the health system’s continuing commitment to advance patient care and modernize its facilities to meet the needs of the community, including the development of an Academic Medical Center.

“We are building both a campus and a way of providing health care that will elevate care in this community for all citizens,” said Reginald Coopwood, MD, president and CEO of Regional One Health.  “I believe that we can have in Memphis a strong Academic Medical Center that will fulfill the complex needs of our community and provide high-quality care.  Building a new, modern facility is an integral part of this journey.”

In partnership with Allword Project Management, LLC, a locally- and minority-owned management firm, a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was issued the week of August 19 to obtain qualification submissions to provide program management services for the multiphase Regional One Health rebuild project. The project also includes both pre-construction and post-construction demolition to ensure minimal disruption to continuing patient care.

Documents comprising the RFQ may be found here. Submission of qualifications must be received by Allword by 5 p.m., September 6, 2024.
